With less than 20% of entries receiving a Pentawards, getting the global recognition of packaging design excellence has a profound effect on those fortunate enough to receive it.
Those from the international packaging community thinking of entering will not want to miss the opportunity to enter the 2023 Pentawards for a chance to grow their businesses, showcase their work to an international audience and gain honest and actionable feedback.
Feedback on all entries
The Pentawards Excellence Score allows entrants to get feedback on every piece of work submitted into the competition, whether or not the designs go through to the second round of judging.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Excellence Score is taken from the jury’s verdict of the entry, based on the four aspects of the judging criteria: the quality of design, brand expression, creativity & innovation and emotional connection.
Each element will be scored out of five, allowing entrants to identify areas for improvement as well as areas of success.
WHAT'S THE BENEFIT?
Participants will get to know what the judges thought of their packaging – what they loved and the areas where they felt improvements could be made. Actionable, tailored insights like these will be invaluable for packaging designers keen to take their work to the next level.
The average Excellence Scores, broken down by sub-category, will be released at the same time as the bronze, silver, gold and platinum winners. This means participants will also be able to gauge how close they came to winning one of these top positions and how their work compares on a global stage.
