Château Picoron communicates a philosophy of Bordeaux culture in its six expressions of wine and label design.
Château Picoron
An Australian-owned organic vineyard, Château Picoron, finds an opportunity to express freedom and creativity in Bordeaux’s traditional wine-making process. The philosophy and design elements highlight the brand’s values of staying true to the unique wine-making process of Bordeaux. Château Picoron exhibits freedom in adding fun tasting notes to wine, extending a sense of modernity into a truly unique label design.
OlssønBarbieri
OlssønBarbieri design studio extended the playfulness of the wines into the label design. Château Picoron packaging is adorned with uncoated paper. The debossing on the label design allows the light to pass through highlighting the brand name. Committed to one typeface, OlssønBarbieri remains loyal to the French-type foundry Bureau Brut, whose Bourrasque slants at 45°, creating a more strong visual identity.
Drawing inspiration from Bordeaux’s wine-making process, the six expressions of wine honour the region's history with a modern twist, making wines more fun. The blend between honouring culture and welcoming modernity, Château Picoron cultivates a new Bordeaux in its tasting notes and packaging design.
