Crafted by Blake Wright and T&A Studios, Supergay emits creativity and disruption, breaking the monotony in the clear spirits category

Founded on the idea that spirits need a sense of playfulness while adding freshness and innovative design, Supergay’s personality is dialled down with a visual identity that’s approachable and engaging. Crafted from 100% organic, single-origin corn, the outstanding element is the disruptive packaging that comes with a standout feature in the category.

With cheeky rhetoric, the brand draws humour from its co-founders, Tom Jackson, one of the founders of the queer biannual print magazine Gayletter, and Aaron Thorp, a New York bar and restaurant veteran.

Supergay’s artwork is crafted by artist Blake Wright, and the label was brought together by the co-founder, Jackson. The label displayed the clear and crisp vodka, while the artwork is reminiscent of Picasso’s work with a touch of modernity. The typography is clear, simple, and bold, leaving no room for confusion. The overall packaging system is well-balanced, clear, and easy to identify, creating a fusion between irreverence and timelessness.

The label design is crafted to gain recognition while adding creativity, disruption, and breaking monotony. Supergay funnels a portion of its profits to organisations benefiting LGBTQ+ bar and restaurant workers, like ROAR NY.
