Buddy Creative Ltd. crafts an authentic label design for popular Anning’s Cider.

Anning’s Cider, named after the palaeontologist and fossil digger Mary Anning of Lyme Regis, tasks Buddy Creative Ltd. with delivering a sophisticated label to stand out amongst the big brands in the cider category.

The design agency conveys the stand-out element by highlighting the flavour credentials and maintaining the brand’s authenticity and history. With its popularity in its category, Buddy Creative’s label portrays beautiful deckled edges, unique pictures, and explanatory remarks that reflect the authenticity and root of the cider.

The agency revisited Lyme disease’s origin and studied the life work of its namesake. The label adorns illustrations of the fruits with hand-drawn visuals and with its variants written in natural handwriting.
