Ruemont Design’s bold and vibrant rebrand for a local family business, Gen V

Ruemont Design’s bold and vibrant rebrand for a local family business, Gen V

Quebec-based hydroponic lettuce and organic vegetable producer, Gen V, tasks Reumont Design with delivering a vibrant rebrand crafted for a shelf stand-out in its category. The locally owned, innovative business carries out modern methods of agriculture while prioritizing sustainable energy. Formally known as Laitues Mirabel, the brand gets a new visual identity inspired by its new name, ‘Gen V’.

Ruemont Design crafts a brand identity that reflects the brand name, ethos and draws inspiration from the brand tagline 'Eat true to your values'. The visual rebrand portrays a modern and energetic aesthetic, communicating the name's significance. The word ‘gen’ for ‘generation’ and the letter ‘V’ in the name come with multiple associations; referring to it as a local family business, modern farming, and the new target audience.

The logo is presented in two tiers, with Gen on the top and V at the bottom, indicating a sprout that represents vitality and growth. The simple packaging reflects Gen V’s commitments: greenhouse-grown, non-GMO, and recyclable packaging.
