Okeanós concept design by Hurtikonn takes inspiration from traditional Greek elements while thinking outside of the box, literally.

Characteristic Greek elements run throughout this captivating design for concept fish brand Okeanós, the brand name itself directly translating to ‘ocean’ or ‘water’. A bright white and sky-blue colour palette adorn the packaging, evoking the classic Greek palette and conjuring the image of fresh water. The typography style complements the Mediterranean aesthetic while bringing a touch of modernity.

The hero of the design, however, are the fish illustrations, each indicating the contents of the pack. The hand-drawn style combined with the grain of the packaging paper creates a rustic feel, in-keeping with a typical Greek "white stone" style. The added charm to this design is the way in which the pack is opened. The illustrated fish tale extends beyond the edge of the packaging, which then acts as the opening device. A unique and memorable tool which Hurtikonn extends across all concept branding and advertising.

Small added details such as the side motif on the side and "stamp" on the back confirming the date of fishing and packing are all consistent with the hand-drawn style, emphasizing the "handmade", traditionalism in fishing that Okeanós promotes.
