Crombie Creative delivers an eccentric packaging design for South African-inspired Woodstock Gin

Woodstock, a gin inspired by a street in Cape Town, is founded on the tagline "spirit of the streets, distilled for the globe." Each tasting note reflects distinctive elements of Woodstock. The story behind the pack was well received, but the elements and brand ethos did not suit the premium position, and novel varieties did not deliver appealing results.


The design agency, Crombie Creative uses a visual identity and a form of art to create interesting conversations that revolve around the brand. Each flavour is illustrated with watercolours and oils, screen printing, and textile design, with street art as the central theme. The new variants are "Tangerine & Fiery Ginger" and "Brambleberry & Purple Lotus," with the last edition being "Untamed Spirit."
