SKINN Branding Agency developed a new D2C watermark for SAVEME water cans encouraging consumers to express their own creative messages in true protest sign style.

SAVEME is a protest brand offering a range of clothing, accessories and drinks made using entirely ethical practices. From recycled and vegan materials to certified high labour standards within their factories and any companies they partner with. Their leading product is a range of pure mountain water cans that act as a ‘community canvas’.

Developed in partnership with SKINN Branding Agency, the infinitely recyclable aluminium cans serve as a blank canvas, enabling digital savvy consumers to add their own message across the label.

SAVEME is a name which stands for both the individual consumer, finding themselves in the 'ME', and for 'Mother Earth'. The message: we only have one body and only one mother earth, let's take care of both.

The graphic and verbal identity share a bold, striking, and fearless aesthetic, using only black and white to make it stand out. Its minimal layout also provides a clear space for the consumer’s design, leaving any potential colourful elements for them to decide.

SKINN developed an ecommerce platform and 3D design tool with which you can give the water can itself a personal and creative message. The community can vote for the best design, so the web shop is always provided with limited edition tins, based on this user generated content.

The D2C labels ingeniously drive the brand’s mission to galvanise and empower its consumers to fight for positive change as well as drawing audiences to the website encouraging education. Furthermore, the water cans offer a sustainable alternative to PET bottles.
