Vietnamese design studio Xolve delivers product branding and packaging design for Kiddyummy’s ready-to-eat meals for babies, tots and kids.

Kiddyummy baby food products are the brainchild of new mum Mandy set on providing the best nutritional start for her first child after discovering that eating habits are shaped in the very early stages of childhood. While natural homemade food may be the best, not many parents have the time or energy to prepare the proper meal, thus Kiddyummy was born to provide homemade quality alternatives to formula-based products.

The product line consists of several different categories: First Taste, First Meals, First Blends (Basic and Complex), and First Snacks with some 40 recipes to choose from, none of which contain any of the main eight allergens or meat products.

Approached to create the brand identity and packaging design for the new start-up, Xolve set out to incorporate a child-like quality while retaining professionalism of the brand. The wordmark is created from scratch featuring playful lettering, transforming the “Y” to mimic a mouth and tongue which becomes the brand icon.

A soft pastel colour palette adorns the packaging, featuring as monochromatic stripes to distinguish the category and completes the cheerful look.
