To celebrate its 150th anniversary, Beck’s launches ‘Autonomous’, a fully AI-powered beer, the world’s first machine-created beers using AI’s ability to corroborate years of human expertise, craft, and creativity complete with a futuristic visual identity.

Beck’s is traditionally known for being a pioneer in keeping up with modern scientific and innovative technological advancements, making them the first to send UV-protected bottles of a six-pack to space. Autonomous’s visual identity, beer recipe, and marketing campaign are fully supported by AI using ChatGPT and Midjourney.



The limited edition portrays a futuristic visual identity and an eccentric colour palette of vibrant green against a deep black can. AI developed these features at lightning speed, including crafting a flavour by drawing from the millions of different flavour combinations with a secret ingredient: AI.

The AI technology used to create Autonomous resulted in creating a product that can be touched, tasted, and smelt, making it a revolutionary drink and taking the first steps into AI technology.
