Nintendo + Illumination x LUSH collaborate to deliver a limited edition range inspired by the Super Mario Bros. movie

Popular cosmetics brand LUSH and Nintendo + Illumination collaborate for a limited-edition range of products inspired by the Super Mario Bros. movie, set to be released on April 28th in Japan. The collaboration resulted in a Princess Peach body spray, Mario and Luigi shower gels, and a Question Block bath bomb with power-up soaps hidden inside. The collection also includes two new shower gels: a red, cola-cube-scented Mario shower gel and a green Luigi shower gel.

The visual identity of each pack draws inspiration from the characters with matching colour palettes. Animated characters adorn the labels in hues that match the character and a similar fragrance to match the packaging. LUSH has dedicated a body spray to the heroine of the movie, the iconic Princess Peach, creating an entirely new scent; a juicy blend of peaches and pineapples.

The flagship product, the ‘question block’ bath bomb, comes with six mystery powerups: fire flower, ice flower, star, coin, black mushroom, and red mushroom. The customised outer packaging, the gift box is a yellow Question Block as seen in the movie. Super Mario Bros. movie fans can make their own mystery gift boxes by adding in their favourite products from the exclusive range.
