Earthling Studios’ rebrand for Top of the Mornin' Coffee is a pack filled with vibrance and positivity.
Seán McLoughlin, a YouTube content creator who also goes by the name Jacksepticeye with over 29 million subscribers, launched a limited-edition coffee line, Top of the Mornin', in 2020. Started off as an experiment that was well received by fans, Earthling Studio was tasked with crafting the Top of the Mornin's rebrand.
The Earthling Studio delivered a packaging rebrand that maintains the same values and personality as the influencer. Packed with vibrant illustrations, Sonny, a bright yellow smiling sun, adorns the pack with a secondary character, Lucky the Clover, who acts as an indication of Seán's Irish roots, a down-to-earth Cup of Joe; and Raye, a rainbow character who represents inclusivity. The cast lives on Planet Positivity, which is described as a place "where the absurdly positive vibes truly blossom."
The visual identity is packed with a positive identity, with a vibrant colour palette representing the founder's values. The coffee brand donates 1% of its proceeds to Crisis Text Line, a non-profit that offers text-based mental health support and crisis intervention.
