Design agency A+M Creative and bespoke production house Porter Packaging join forces to deliver a complete brand and packaging design fit for handcrafted, premium chocolate brand Lucid.

Lucid Chocolatier are an artisanal chocolate brand creating handcrafted, premium bars using only organic beans sourced from Peru. Based in Wairarapa, New Zealand, Lucid produces a diverse range of specialised chocolate in varied and unique flavours using environmentally friendly practises.

In order to reflect the handcrafted, premium quality while still keeping in line with the brand’s environmentally friendly ethos, design studio A+M Creative and production house Porter Packaging developed a range of fully recyclable boxes that convey a distinct luxury aesthetic. The deep gradient colour palette reflects the rich organic cocoa beans, while the minimal layout allows the text to stand out when printed in white or red against the black, all achieved using spot UV logos + foil stamping with plant-based inks on 350gsm uncoated papers.
