M&M launches a limited-edition pack celebrating women worldwide, introducing a new mascot, Purple
M&M launches a limited-edition pack introducing a new mascot, "Purple," honouring women worldwide. The tagline, "Turning the Status Quo," is illustrated with the central character, Purple, accompanied by two other female characters, Brown and Green. The trio of characters upside down is displayed on the pack as part of M&M's efforts to be more inclusive and representative. Purple joins Green and Brown as the third female spokescandy.
Furthermore, M&M has agreed to donate $1 from each sale of the limited edition packaging to non-profit organizations. We are Moving the Needle and She is the Music are two organisations dedicated to empowering and promoting female musicians and recording artists. M&M uses the power of packaging design to make a difference.
