About

ATIU is an Italian decoration and technology partner specialised in premium glass packaging for the luxury, spirits and fragrance industries.

Positioned at the intersection of design, innovation and industrial production, ATIU collaborates with international brands to transform glass bottles and flacons into distinctive design objects. The company focuses on translating complex visual identities onto glass while preserving creative intent, material integrity and industrial precision.

ATIU’s expertise is centred on advanced sublimation, high-foil applications and lacquered finishes. These technologies enable designs and texts to be applied in a single, integrated process, allowing brands to complete the entire decorative development with one specialised partner. Through precise control of opacity and transparency, decoration can be layered to create depth, contrast and refined visual effects directly on glass.

Full-surface decoration is achievable even on complex geometries, embossed details and non-standard forms, ensuring seamless continuity across the entire object. This approach removes traditional constraints, expanding the expressive potential of glass packaging while maintaining consistency and reliability at production scale.

From concept development and prototyping to industrial execution, ATIU supports creative teams throughout the full project lifecycle, acting as a strategic partner where technology enhances design — quietly, precisely, and with purpose.

Portfolio
Bvlgari Le Gemme Tygar × Refik Anadol — Formes de Luxe Awards 2025

Refik Anadol's digital artwork — rich in detail, depth and light effects — reproduced on the curved glass of Bvlgari's Le Gemme Tygar limited edition. A joint development with Heinz-Glas combining water-based aluminium lacquer with ATIU sublimation for precise 360° decoration: solvent-free materials and layered gold, platinum and copper effects for a dimensional appearance, across bottle and cap. Recognised at the Formes de Luxe Awards 2025, the project is a reference for how digital art enters the most demanding luxury supply chains — what exists on screen, produced on glass, exactly as imagined.

Spirits — Limited Editions Without Limits

Rhum J.M Édition Limitée, Rhum Barbancourt Liberté Libèté, Vermutât artist edition: three briefs where illustration, colour and storytelling wrap the entire bottle. ATIU's digital sublimation on glass applies artwork and text in a single application — infinite colours, HD quality up to 1200 dpi, full 360° coverage from neck to base with a single seam. Complex shoulders and embossed details are decorated with seamless continuity, and every edition runs at industrial scale using water-based, organic materials free of heavy metals. For spirits brands, this means limited editions, gifting and travel-retail exclusives that keep the same premium finish from prototype to full production.

Nude Brand Creation Collab — The Fashion Collections RS & Malfy × Missoni

A multi-year partnership with London agency Nude Brand Creation, for Pernod Ricard: three years of Royal Salute's Fashion Collection with Harris Reed and Richard Quinn, and the Malfy × Missoni limited editions. The brief "couldn't be done": a fully decorated whisky bottle on a complex geometry of curves and transitions, with bold, detailed, full-colour fashion artwork — and a sleeve ruled out both by the shape and by recyclability. ATIU's digital sublimation applied the designs directly onto the glass, wrapping the entire bottle without compromising sustainability. "It opened up a completely new way of thinking about what's possible on glass. It raised the bar, both creatively and technically" — Amy Dickinson, Assistant Creative Director, Nude. What started as a one-off became a full series of limited editions.

Perfumery — Matter Reimagined on Glass

Marble, mineral and stone: textures that glass alone cannot offer, reproduced directly on the flacon in HD quality up to 1200 dpi. ATIU's digital sublimation on glass decorates faceted geometries and organic forms with full-surface continuity, turning each flacon into a small design object — trompe l'oeil, ceramic effects, natural materials rendered with photographic depth. Developed from production-true renders and validated through decorated samples in days, each project scales to industrial volumes without losing the precision of the original design. For fragrance brands, the flacon becomes the first note of the composition.

Wine — Editions That Travel

For export markets, the bottle is the brand's ambassador. Masi's Nectar Costasera Amarone celebrates the Lunar New Year with a red-and-gold horse rising across the glass — an icon of Valpolicella transformed into a collectible gift for the Chinese market, without changing the wine or the bottle. Digital sublimation on glass makes market-specific editions industrially simple: full-body decoration, gradients and metallic accents applied directly to the glass, from Chinese New Year celebrations to travel retail and gifting seasons — while the Murciano collection shows the same freedom applied across a full range. For wineries, decoration becomes strategy: in markets where wine is a gift before it is a drink, the decorated bottle carries the value.

Olive Oil — Majolica on Glass through Sublimation

The look of hand-painted Sicilian majolica, reproduced on glass: photographic ceramic effects in full 360°, without the weight, fragility and cost of artisan ceramic. Winner of the Pentawards Gold 2025 (Sustainability — Food), this approach gives premium olive oil producers a decorated bottle that is lighter, food-safe, fully recyclable and industrially scalable — a collectible object at production volumes. Digital sublimation on glass turns the region's craft heritage into a repeatable premium format, from gifting editions to export lines.
