Creative studio Angel & Anchor deliver a minimalist packaging design that embodies the Dublin-based coffee brand’s innovative approach to life and their industry.

With an acute awareness of their role within the coffee industry, Full Circle Coffee Roasters are committed to ethical practices, embracing an innovative approach to their business. Investing in several small-scale Brazilian farmers, Full Circle commits to upfront purchasing, regardless of environmental factors that could affect the bean harvest, protecting farmers from loss of livelihood.

Full Circle's visual identity, designed by creative studio Angel and Anchor, positions the brand’s ethos as the hero of the design. Adopting a minimalist, Swiss-inspired layout, Angel and Anchor create a geometric repeat motif in the form of semi-circles that adorn the bags, appearing in the form of typography or as block colours. These forms play on the brand name as well as signifies the brand’s main slogan “What goes around…”. The invisible half of the circles echoes an invitation to complete the second half of the slogan, connecting the brand’s visual identity with their values. Furthermore, when the coffee bags are stood side by side the circles become complete reflecting on how everything is connected.

The use of a monochrome base palette with delicate typography, fine line geometric shapes and a contrasting pop of primary colour to indicate roast type reflects the brand’s simple, sustainability principles. The bags themselves are carbon-neutral and fully recyclable, staying true to the core values.
