Earthfoam extends ecoconsciousness in product and packaging, making it the first sustainable paper-wrapped mattress

Earthfoam, an organic mattress crafted from Sri Lankan farmed trees and New Zealand sheep wool with no herbicides or pesticides, focuses on sustainability and delivering an organic mattress. To extend the brand ethos in the packaging design, they improvised by replacing plastic with kraft paper wrapped using a specialized C3 wrapping machine, making it the first-ever paper-wrapped mattress.

A brand driven by sustainability and dedication to crafting an eco-friendly product wanted the packaging to reflect the brand values of quality, comfort, transparency, and sustainability. The overall visual appeal of the outer packaging displays an organic feel, emphasized by a stripped-back colour palette reliant on the natural tones of the box and the clean white font.

The branding system showcases a minimalist visual identity inspired by the retro Airfoam ads from the 1950s that features bright colours and curvy fonts fused with Japanese minimalism.
