Elefant Project takes direct inspiration from Avenida Paulista in the heart of São Paul, Brazil for their exclusive Nike packaging.
Elefant Project takes direct inspiration from Avenida Paulista in the heart of São Paul, Brazil for their exclusive Nike packaging.
With the launch of their concept store situated in the heart of São Paulo, Brazil on Avenida Paulista, Centauro sporting goods outlet held a charity auction for which Nike provided a few of their own much desired products.
Presented with the task of creating exclusive packaging for these items that reflected both Nike and the charity, Elefante Project developed a shoe box with design concepts inspiration from the very street on which the new store would reside.
A vibrant, geometric pattern adorns the box built up of graphic elements that reflect different characteristics of the avenue, from sidewalk layouts to museum buildings (The São Paulo Museum of Art) and the famous communications antennas at the top of the buildings. Each composition is perfectly mirrored from aerial views and translated into a symmetrical design.
Much of the colour scheme also takes inspiration from the elements of colour within the surrounding area which is then built up into a vibrant and bright colour palette that perfectly represents Nike’s get up and do it brand ethos.
This limited-edition Nike x Paulista avenue design was also extended to pins, patches and point of sale materials.
