In the wake of a difficult period stuck indoors, four friends started producing natural scented candles that brought the scent of nature to the home. Made with soy wax, a non-toxic cotton wick, natural essential oils and packaged in handmade terracotta pots, the candles are sustainably made so that consumers can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature without being harmful to the environment.
Design agency Fabular were tasked with creating a brand story, name, slogan, and visual identity, as well as the product design of the candle itself. Fabular identified that the key aspect of the brand's aim boiled down to ‘immersing the consumer and all their senses in the scent of nature’. This became the backbone of the new brand story.
The brand name Uroni, which translates to ‘Dives’, invites the consumer to immerse themselves in a sense of relaxation. A brand slogan of “Scent You Can Feel” communicates that this is a fragrance that is felt by your whole being. An elegant, minimalist logo is inspired by rounded wax shapes and elongated letters that look like they are “immersed”. A colour palette consisting of natural pastel tones reflect the natural ingredients and worldly scents.
The inspiration for Fabular’s unique product design and the shape of the terracotta pot was found in the letter “U” from the logo. This shape is also echoed in a recessive groove at the front. Furthermore, the product design takes care of sustainability as it can be used again as a decorative flower pot.
