June Sarpong, one of the most recognisable faces of British television, an entrepreneur, an award-winning author, and a diversity expert, joins the Pentawards Festival on the 22nd and 23rd of September at the Science Museum, London.

June Sarpong, one of the most recognisable faces of British television, an entrepreneur, an award-winning author, and a diversity expert, joins the Pentawards Festival on the 22nd and 23rd of September at the Science Museum, London.

June Sarpong will be joining the Pentawards festival as a headline speaker, a diversity and inclusivity expert who has worked extensively as a presenter, hosting multiple shows including Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday celebration in 2008, and she has introduced some of the world’s biggest names such as HRH Prince of Wales, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, and George Clooney.

About June Sarpong

June has enjoyed a 20-year career, beginning her career at radio station Kiss 100 and later becoming a presenter for MTV UK and Ireland. It was when she started on Channel 4’s T4 that she became a household name. June hosted 2005’s Make Poverty History event and presented at the UK leg of Live Earth in 2007, including working extensively with HRH Prince Charles as an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust.




One of the youngest people ever to receive an MBE in 2008, June was soon awarded the OBE in the 2020 New Years’ Honours List for her services to broadcasting and charity. As an author of three award-winning books and as a director of creative diversity, June has launched a new publishing imprint, ‘The HQ Creative Inclusion Lab with Harper Collins, giving a voice to those from underrepresented communities.
