A local Colombian product, Kakao launches its rich chocolate with locally sourced, superior quality cocoa and a novel visual identity with geometric patterns drawn from the region. The eye-catching product delivers a soft yet vibrant colour palette with detailed information about the chocolate that will urge consumers to try each flavour one by one.
With the ambition to stay true to the local essence of the product, Gabriel Franco, a local classic design lover, crafted the geometric-minimalistic packaging. The graphics of the design demonstrates a fusion between the richness of Kakao chocolate and the strong Colombian roots.
Kakao created a brand identity to capture the market using digital means such as social networks and digital platforms. The vibrant colour system and the geometric patterns evoke native fabric designs, reinforcing the visual identity to match the theme of the artisan collection, and delivering a successful strategy to capture a digital audience.
