PANGAIA redefines the future of food technology with the launch of their new PANGAIA® Super Super Bar™ complete with entirely compostable futuristic packaging.

Self-described ‘materials science company’ PANGAIA is branching out into the world of food with PANGAIA® Superfoods™. Initially recognized as a DTC clothing brand, the company is expanding their brand portfolio to create a lifestyle division that balances science and nature while championing human and planetary health.

The project begins with the launch of the PANGAIA® Super Super Bar™ range. Combining biotech, food science, nature and functional nutrition, the energy bars are designed to offer convenient and highly delicious pick-me-ups that are carbon neutral, ecologically friendly and naturally healthy.

PANGAIA’s mission to reduce its impact on the planet extends right through to the packaging. Designed in-house, the silver wrappers are made from TIPA’s compostable films and laminates that imitate the functionality of conventional plastic materials but can be decomposed at home. Furthermore, the outer box is entirely recyclable. A minimalist layout allows for clarity of information as all ingredients and processes are outlined on the front of the packaging.

The overall design evokes a futuristic, galactic aesthetic reflecting the scientific influence involved in the making of the bars, as well as appealing to the retro-loving contemporary consumer.
