Coco is a brand of frozen yogurt that comes in 8 flavours - peach, orange, banana, mint chip, watermelon, blueberry, strawberry and coconut – many of which deliberately veer away from category norms to arouse intrigue and encourage consumers to try them.

Brand and graphic designer, Anu Manohar has created a concept that embodies this drive to sidestep convention with a lively packaging design that is minimal in its execution but striking in its end result.

Brand name and playful logotypes take centre stage. The eccentric typography steps out of mainstream styles, combining warm calligraphic curves with a clean, machine-like sensibility—bridging the hand-drawn and mechanical genres. The large black text against the bright flat colours creates a compelling contrast, while accompanying pastel shades add a sense of softness to the design.

The design’s power comes from its simplicity as the minimal, yet bold visual element makes it easy to remember, assisting brand recall, as well as providing flexibility that can be continued across all marketing and product variations, maintaining brand message and tone.
