Marx Design delivers a minimalistic, eco-conscious and purpose-driven packaging design for the Australian brand, Thankyou

Thankyou is on a mission to change the manner in which consumerism and thoughtless consumption with a bold and captivating design. Marx Design was tasked with the responsibility of delivering an innovative packaging solution for the sustainability-conscious brand. Thankyou’s products range from sanitisers to body wash, cleaning tools and natural deodorants.

The brand driven by purpose, Thankyou gives away all profits made to the charity to fight poverty through The Thankyou Charitable Trust. With a strong brand ethos, Marx Design crafted a packaging system that pays tribute to the brand's values of eco-consciousness, sustainability and charity along the lines of reimagining consumerism and defeating thoughtless consumption.

Thankyou's dedication authenticity is showcased through its logo, which features a slightly flawed circle. This symbol represents human imperfections acting as a strong reminder that change often starts when we accept our own flaws. Thankyou embeds a sense of purpose in everything it makes, using clever design to tell a story of hope, accountability, and progress that really connects with people.

Marx delivers a visual identity for Thankyou goes beyond mere visual appeal. It embodies the very heart of Thankyou's purpose: shifting consumer spending to eradicate poverty and redefine consumerism. Through their inventive packaging, Thankyou and Marx Design are revolutionizing the way people shop. Thankyou comes with standout elements that are driven to transform the consumer-product relationship. Marx’s design delivers a solution such as the Forever Bottle that is eco-friendly with a refilling system prompting consumers to towards their sustainable journey.

The replenishment mechanism employs valuable, eco-friendly HDPE. The outer packaging is constructed entirely from 100% recycled materials and is fully recyclable. The refills are available in 1L, 3L, and 5L practical jerry cans with product names subtly embossed to facilitate organization when stored in consumers' cupboards. Thankyou’s Forever Bottles values fit the title ‘Design with Purpose’, the Pentawards Festival 2023’s theme.
