The New Zealand-based design studio delivers a soft and enticing visual identity for new organic skincare brand Tronque that celebrates the human body, imperfections and all.
Tronque is a new organic skincare brand on a mission to maintain beauty on the outside without hindering the inside. Having struggled with her reproductive health, founder Tanné Snowden became very aware of the ingredients coming into contact with her body, soon discovering the questionable components used in her skincare products. Determined to create a new luxury range with total transparency, Snowden developed Tronque using plant-based, Bio-Cleanical® formulas. The brand launches with three unique products; The Rich as Croesus Firming Butter, Soft Focus Scar Concentrate and the Everyday Revelation Exfoliating Serum.
The bespoke packaging design, led by Marx Design, sets out to capture the attention of the modern consumer who seeks out intelligent, plant-based formulas with a chic, modern twist. The brand symbol depicts the shape of the female form in an elegantly silhouetted style inspired by the life drawing and collage styles popular in the 19th Century. The warm colour palette of delicate pink and deep red creates an inviting visual language while embossed logos and textured papers add an element of tactility. Combined, these design elements create a soft, grainy quality, celebrating the human body – blemishes, imperfections, and all.
Internal brand messaging within the box communicates brand ethos and product ingredients. The overall design delivers an enticing and intimate unboxing experience.
