For the launch of the new health and wellness brand, Vinille developed a highly distinctive brand and packaging suit that could take on the busy market and connect with consumers.
Start-up Unica Be is a one-stop health brand that provides affordable vitamins and supplements for energy, immune system, bone support and whole-body health, enabling people to address and treat concerns and improve their overall wellbeing.
As a brand that deals with potentially sensitive health concerns, design agency Vinille was tasked with developing a name, brand strategy, visual identity and tone of voice that positioned Unica Be as a wellness company unafraid to stand out, whilst also providing reassurance and education. Furthermore, the packaging needed to be highly distinctive for the brand’s introduction into the busy market as well as sustainable and recyclable.
Veering away from more discreet design cues more often found in the category, Vinille opt for an unapologetic eye-catching visual identity. A bright palette gives the brand a strong presence and memorability, with each product variant given its only colour coding. A simple logotype and font is implemented throughout the packaging, creating an approachable appeal, and hard-to-pronounce or difficult-to-understand ingredients are simplified, providing accessibility and comprehension for everyday use.
The container is made from entirely cardboard material, meaning it is easily recyclable at home or from local recycling collection points.
