On 4 and 5 October we partnered with Empack Stockholm to bring global  packaging design excellence together with the future of packaging, allowing visitors an unrivalled platform to be inspired, innovate, and come together across a two-day conference.

Isabelle Dahlborg Lidström - Creative Director and Head of Design @ GROW

Isabelle will take us through some key case studies reflecting on topics like designing with meaning and sustainable packaging, including their work with Paboco, the paper Bottle Company and Absolute Paper bottle.

He will reason, look at trends, and present some important takeaways for ensuring a forward-leaning brand expression tomorrow.

Rebecca Pryce-åklundh - Sustainability Manager @ Duni Group

Duni Group has worked with food experiences for 70 years now. We have seen how consumption patterns and consumer trends have changed over time.

14:15 - 14:45 |  The unexpected impact of packaging design - the story of the ever after

Lisa Minogue - Creative Director @ Identity Works

Identity Works will take us through some case studies, looking at what happened with them as they left our design table and got out into the real world. It’s easy to think of impact as sales numbers, but another impact is how it connects with humans in different ways. The whole session will be a nice fun little reminder of the importance of having a human-centric design approach when creating new packaging design.

Mikael Selin - Graphic designer/Illustrator @ Mikael Selin Design Studio

I will be talking about how I almost exclusively work with illustrations In my packaging design projects. And the strengths and challenges of portraying”taste” when making a ”portrait” of the product.
