Design student Takhmina Oripova presents a simple, intuitive, and instantly eye-catching packaging concept
During a student workshop, Takhmina Oripova was tasked with creating a sauce concept. Acting on instinct, she reached for clay and shaped it into a chicken drumstick—an idea that felt natural, intuitive, and instantly eye-catching. This simple yet clever form became the foundation for a playful and practical packaging design.
Takhmina developed containers for three complementary flavours: teriyaki, sweet chili, and barbecue. Each flavour pairs perfectly with chicken, while the drumstick-shaped packaging adds a layer of creativity and fun to the dining experience. The design isn’t just visually striking—it’s also functional, crafted to be easy to use while enhancing the overall meal presentation.
What sets this concept apart is its fusion of functionality and playfulness. By turning a familiar food shape into packaging, the design offers a fresh, unexpected take that grabs attention without sacrificing usability.
