Here's What's New
Find out what’s new for the 2025 Pentawards Competition…
As The 2025 Pentawards Competition gets started, we've made a number of enhancements to ensure that this year's competition not only offers a smoother, more streamlined process but also provides greater opportunities for our community.
Here’s what’s new, what’s changed, and the tweaks we’ve made to elevate your experience:
New Written Feedback
Our most exciting new element for this year is that we’re introducing an additional element of feedback into competition results. This will first be rolled out for non-shortlisted entrants in 2025, allowing them to see personalised written feedback on what the jury thought of their design, alongside their numerical Pentawards Excellence Score.
The added benefit of this feedback will give these entrants more insight into what they may have been able to do differently or where they might be able to improve their designs or entry.
While currently exclusive to non-shortlisted entries, this will soon be extended to shortlisted and winning entries.
Extended Saving
We’ve extended both our Launch Rate and Super Early Bird Rate so you have a bit longer to get our cheapest rate of the competition. Plus the overall competition time is longer this year, with a deadline of 28th March , so you have more time to submit and perfect your entries. Don’t forget to take advantage of Pay Now, Edit Later – where you can take advantage of the lower rates and edit your entries up until the competition closes.
Entry Examples
We often get questions about perfecting competition entries, in our user guide this year we've included some brilliant examples of previous winning works as a guide for your entries.
The Jury
Along with some of last years’ experts in packaging design, this year we've got some incredible new faces from global brands and agencies including Tom Ford Beauty, Kraft Heinz, Dragon Rouge, Blue Marlin, P&G India & Danone – to name a few!
Our brilliant Jury members, 55 in total, will lend their expertise in judging entries in two round of the competition, so you’ll have experts in the industry looking at and giving feedback for your work.

Category Changes
Based on your feedback, we’ve tweaked some of our categories for this year. The Supplier of the Year award will become Supplier Innovation Of The Year focusing on suppliers and manufacturers who have g launched a new innovative packaging solution for the industry.
Our extremely popular Redesign sub-category has now been split into two, Iconic Brands, for the larger well-known brands and Challenger Brands, for smaller emerging brands.
Re-design: Iconic Brands - Packaging for well-known brands with longstanding consumer engagement that have been in the market for 20+ years.
Re-design: Challenger Brands - Packaging for emerging brands with a growing consumer base that have been in the market for less than 20 years.
