Making packaging more sustainable, the wholesale giants in catering supplies partner with Nopla, a seaweed-coated packaging design brand, giving take-out packaging more sustainable solutions to thousands of food services across the UK.

Notpla, a brand on a mission to make packaging disappear, crafts all-natural packaging solutions made from seaweed and other natural biodegradable products. The brand addresses plastic problems across industries such as electronics, fashion, cosmetics, and food.

Delivering a solution to make food containers fully biodegradable, Notpla's coating made from seaweed is the solution food delivery companies and packaging suppliers have been looking for. The thin, invisible layer of plastic can now be replaced with a Nopla coating. With the brand’s tagline ‘packaging designed to disappear," it is now available to order via Bidfood Direct.

Bidfood Catering Supplies, a catering supplies giant, is motivated by driving a circular economy to reduce, reuse, recycle, and renew.
