Louise Fili crafts an Italian visual identity in the launch of ‘Rubirosa at Home’ for the iconic NY- based Italian-American restaurant, Rubirosa.

Rubirosa, an Italian-American, family-owned restaurant, and pizzeria in New York City launches a special product line of Rubirosa at Home, a line of tomato sauces and olive oils. With the increasing demand for their famed dishes, they launch three variants of sauces drawing design inspiration from the dishes for their Marinara Sauce, Vodka Sauce, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.


Italian-American graphic designer, Louise Fili, an expert in Italian visual culture, crafts a visual identity that represents Italian cuisine with a deep-rooted connection to the nostalgic Italian dining experience. 


The overall branding represents elements of Rubrirosa’s famous dishes. With the Italian culture at the core of the packaging design, the visual elements such as the bright colour checkered tablecloth act as a nostalgic reminder of traditional Italian restaurants.
