Billie Eilish uncovers her debut fragrance ‘Eilish’, which boasts “captivating Amber Gourmand that attracts you with a warm, cozy scent that feels like home no matter where you are”. The scent is made using clean ingredients and cruelty-free practises, keeping in line with the singer's vegan lifestyle and drive for sustainability. True to form, Eilish maintained creative control throughout the process, from the fragrance itself right through to the bottle and outer packaging, made in collaboration with award winning fragrance manufacturers Parlux Ltd and Diamond Packaging.

NYC-based Jon Michael Design was responsible for the branding, package design, and content creation for the Eilish fragrance product launch. Billie Eilish's love for the human body was the driving inspiration behind the bottle design. The agency worked closely with Ms. Eilish to create a beautiful silhouette of the body with fluid lines to introduce Eilish to the world.

The fragrance is enclosed within an elegant bottle sculpted in the shape of a bust that features the singer’s favourite areas on the body: the collarbone, neck, and back. Gilded in amber-bronze, the bust offers a truly premium quality, as the reflective surface highlights all the curves and angles. Eilish’s concept sets out to celebrate the human body, abstracting the figure in a way so as to avoid depicting a “certain body type”.

The outer packaging complements the gilded features and elegant form of the primary container and is made using Diamond Packaging's ‘greenbox initiative’. The process champions a sustainable approach to packaging that minimizes its environmental impact, from the supply chain right through to the finished product.

FSC-certified, BillerudKorsnäs CrownBoard Prestige™ recycled paperboard is used for the outer box material, chosen for its unique formability, strength, and printability, whilst also being environmentally conscious. To create the layered textures and shine finish, a combination of DiamondTouch soft touch coating, UV matte coating, and UV gloss spot coating over transfer metallized Envirofoil® is utilized.

Hazen Paper’s Envirofoil's mirror-like finish is manufactured with less than 1% of the aluminium used in traditional foil laminates. It also reuses the film carrier multiple times and is recyclable as paper. Furthermore, the cartons were manufactured using 100% clean, renewable wind energy and produced in a Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWL) and Carbon Neutral facility.

To further enhance the tactility, adding to the multisensory consumer experience, the design features multi-level embossing, including the metallic bust on the front panel that unifies the packaging with the perfume bottle within.
