Lam Na Ny delivers a Y2K-inspired visual identity for a vibrant Korean cosmetic brand, Bad Peach, crafted specifically for students globally

Bad Peach, a vibrant Korean cosmetics brand inspired by the Y2K concept and designed especially for students embracing colourful fashion and lively style of the early 2000s with its unique product range. According to Bad Peach, makeup is a form of self-expression, allowing people to experiment, have fun, and stand out from the crowd. Their products are created using high-quality ingredients to ensure comfortable and long-lasting wear, even through the busiest of school days.

Crafted by Lam Na Ny, an independent designer, she delivers a holistic visual identity for the brand. The brand's logo perfectly embodies its rebellious character—a peach fruit filled with a sense of disorder and mischief, depicted as full of life with an edgy and unconventional appearance that reflects the brand's attitude.

The typography chosen for the logo combines elements of 2000s teen girl movie typography with a contemporary twist. It features bold, rounded letterforms that evoke a sense of youthful energy and fun, with letters that may be slightly distorted or irregular, adding to the rebellious and imperfect aesthetic.

Bad Peach's colour palette incorporates two main tones, red and beige, complemented by vibrant shades of pink, blue, yellow, purple, and more. This combination of colours evokes a retro feel, creating a visually striking and nostalgic impact.
